About RooTs

RooTs Collaborative, getting back to the grass “roots” of supporting local art and craft.

RooTs primary purpose is to support community, encourage creativity and get back to the grass ”roots” of supporting local art and craft.

With the change in economy we are all becoming more mindful about where we are shopping, where the dollars we spend go and where our products are coming from. With RooTs, everything is local. The store operates sustainably by supporting and selling local art and keeping all our business local. All original artwork from paintings, jewelry, furniture, textiles and unique gift items are created within a 50-mile radius. Every paint stroke, wood cut and bead strung has been handcrafted by local artists.

RooTs location is cozy (in the heart of downtown), but the owners Catherine and John Vignale feel the “small but mighty” space is perfect for this new community hub of local art and craft. They encourage you to rediscover your community – support your neighbor and shop local.
